COLLECTING STATIC DATA
To collect static data, select the three lines at the top left, select MEASURE, then select the STATIC survey style, then START BASE RECEIVER
Type in the point name, enter the base antenna height (make sure to measure to the MEASURED TO method), select the arrow to right of the point name, then select KEY IN.
In the next screen, select the HERE button at the bottom left to populate the northing/easting/elevation information, then select STORE at the bottom right. On the next screen select START at the bottom right to start recording static data. NOTE: THE BASE RECEIVER WILL DISPLAY A DOWN ARROW ON THE KEYPAD THAT SHOULD BE LIT WITH A SOLID LIGHT INDICATING IT IS RECORDING THE STATIC INFORMATION.
After the desired recording time for the static data is complete, make sure to properly end the survey by selecting the three lines at the top, then MEASURE, then the static survey style, then END BASE SURVEY. Do not power down the receiver when prompted. If this process is not followed the file could be corrupted or deemed unusable.
