Importing KMZ/KML Files Into Trimble Access

                                                           Here’s a morning cup!

                                                                  Did you Know?

Beginning in Trimble Access version 2024.10 you can now import KMZ/KML files after placing them into the Projects folder within Trimble Access. To perform the import function in the map screen, select the Layer Manager from the toolbar on the left, then Map Files. Select Add at the bottom of the screen.

Select the appropriate KMZ/KML file(s), denoted by a check mark to left of each file, then select Accept at the bottom right.

Under the Map files in the Layer manager, select the desired KMZ/KML file(s) twice each to utilize them in the map space, then select Accept at the bottom right. HINT: Selecting the file once (denoted by a check mark) will activate the file in the map space to be viewed only and selecting the file again will allow the user to interact with objects within the file (denoted by a check mark with a square around it.)
