Map Settings allows the user to customize what information is displayed on the screen, making it easier for the user to view the information they need without the additional clutter.
Some of the key features are:
- Name, code, elevation can easily be toggled on and off in the map display settings.
- The label color can be changed for better contrast of background images.
- Symbols can be changed from simple dots, method symbols (to reflect how the point was gathered: keyed in, topo point, control point, as staked, etc), or Feature Library symbols (customized point, line, and polygon features).
- Map orientation can be north or customized for plan north of a project.
- Surfaces have different displayed settings. A vertical offset to the DTM can be set.
- Road surfaces display options.
- BIM model display options.
- Point Cloud display options.
- Transparency of Map background images and BIM models can be customized separately.
