Trimble Access Media Files

Here’s a morning cup!
Did you Know?
TDC600s, TSC5s, and TSC7s all have cameras. Pictures can be taken with the Data collector and linked to the job in general or a point specifically. Picture file settings are found in the job properties under the Media File selection. JPG files are stored in the project folder along with the job data to keep all the data together. Pictures can document the condition of monumentation you locate, current conditions of an area you topo or as-built, or the obstacles hindering you from staking a point. Picture file names can be customized by the user to include important references (point name, point code, date, time, or custom).

Pictures taken and linked to the job or point can be found and edited in the Review Job, found in the Favorites menu. Users can edit the picture file name, enable geotag, and even draw directly on the image for future reference.
