Here’s a morning cup!

Did you Know?

In the summer months, you may experience drastic temperature changes from morning to afternoon. Trimble recommends adjusting your robotic instrument if the ambient temperature differs more than 18°F from the previous collimation test. To adjust the instrument, you need to have a leveled instrument on a stable surface and be connected to a data collector. Inside Trimble Access, select the three lines at the top, go to the Instrument tab, and select Adjust. You may also find access to the calibration menu from the level screen prior to a station setup. Performing the Compensator Calibration and Collimation & Trunnion axis tilt will ensure that your instrument is calibrated to the current working conditions. SX10/SX12 users have reported improved registration between scans performing these calibrations prior to scanning.
